MINING SUPPORT
THE SHAFT IS NOT THE WHOLE FOOTPRINT.
Workshops, yards, roads, services and contractor facilities around mining operations create construction needs beyond underground mine survey work.
AREA 01C / LOCAL WORKING TERRITORY
Westonaria forms part of the western mining belt while also serving established neighbourhoods, industrial activity and a wide rural hinterland. Distance between sites is part of the planning.
One pin can say Westonaria. It cannot describe the whole job.
WHY THIS AREA
Mining infrastructure, residential sites and rural properties create different access and safety requirements. The programme must allow time to identify usable control and understand what information already exists.
Suitable work is arranged from the West Rand base when the scope and deliverable justify the field time.
LOCAL GROUND // WESTONARIA
The shafts and mine infrastructure are prominent, but Westonaria also carries homes, roads, community facilities, farms and businesses that need ordinary development information.
Economic context only; specialist mine surveying remains a separate discipline.MINING SUPPORT
Workshops, yards, roads, services and contractor facilities around mining operations create construction needs beyond underground mine survey work.
COMMUNITIES
Roads, buildings, drainage and utilities need consistent positions and levels whether the project is public infrastructure or private construction.
RURAL SCALE
The surrounding open ground changes access, survey coverage and the value of planning enough field time before the journey begins.

PROJECT TERRITORY // WESTONARIA
A vague regional pin is not enough where gates, mine property, settlements and farm roads can lead to very different pieces of ground. The correct access and responsible contact are confirmed before travelling.
Detailed field stories are being prepared for , the forthcoming Mini Civils project portfolio.
ANOTHER ONE OF MY DAD'S SAYINGS
“DON'T BE GREEDY. LET THE SUN SHINE ON EVERYONE.”
We take on work when the scope, programme and travel make sense. If someone in our network is closer, has more suitable equipment or specialises in exactly what the project needs, we will say so and help point the client in the right direction.
The right person. The right equipment. The right job. Zero BS.
SEND THE LOCATION. SEND THE QUESTION.
Include the site location, what is being built or checked, the approximate site size, available drawings and the required timeframe.
